Finding Magic Every Day.
We love to capture the most heightened rituals of our lives. We dedicate entire albums to weddings, birthdays and vacations, as we should. But where are the photos that capture our enjoyment of everyday life? What about the other 99% of our time? These moments are no less important. No less exciting.
I find them to be the most interesting, honest, lovely and rich in character. It brings me great joy to shoot candid images of people in their own environments -- playing with their dogs, cooking dinner, enjoying a steaming cup of coffee, or taking a walk with a friend -- revealing who they really are.
Although I shoot headshots, weddings, and special events, what I enjoy most is capturing the magic and the beauty in the every day.
